Roles and Responsiblity
I. Responsible for day to day management of the GRC-SK.
II. Provides guidance to other team members of GRC-SK.
III. Makes work plans, coordinates and supervises the quality of work of others in the team.
IV. Supervises data entry operations.
V. Verifies documents and applications submitted by beneficiaries.
VI. Analyses various performance indicators.
VII. Identifies vulnerable population with active community outreach.
VIII. Compiles data, prepares documents for submission to DRC, MNGO and other government agencies.
IX. Supervises all components, documents and records, fixed assets and consumable on a daily basis and ensure the same are in well manner.
X. Coordinates with DC office/DRC/MNGO and PMU-SSS, and attends all meetings conducted by them.
XI. Responsible for supervising and maintenance of all records (paper records and the website) including minutes of meetings, registers, etc.
XII. Ensures maintenance of proper financial records by the NGO’s accountant.
XIII. Establish linkages with neighbouring dispensaries, doctors, local public health institutions, specialist hospitals for services of needs and resourse persons for health components; Jan Shikshan Sansthan for vocational trades certification, local industries and trade establishments, market / placements agencies, boutiques and parlours for placement of trainees in different vocations; Delhi Legal Services Authority to provide quality legal services; State Resource Centre, Jamia Millia Islamia for learning materials, syllabus and exams approval for the beneficiaries of education components; local government schools principals / headmasters and others for mainstreaming of school dropout children of the target community into formal school system; local banks, SJSRY, MSME, Khadi Gramodyog Commission, district federation etc. for training and functioning of SHG; Delhi Commision of Home Science, Food and Nutrition Board, Institute of Home Economics, Lady Irwin College or any other relevant institute for resource persons and IEC for better guidance and training; local community leaders, Pradhans and other member of Residents Welfare Associations, Governmental and Non Governmental Organization, Mahila Mandals, Aanganwadi, Asha Workers etc. for maximizing the community outreach to achieve the objective of the project GRC – SK.
XIV. Informs and provides feedback to DRC/MNGO/PMU-SSS about bottlenecks and new initiatives.
XV. Submits reports, updates, status reports and other required documents in timely manner as per the requirements of the PMU-SSS, MNGO, DRC, DC office
XVI. Ensuring the beneficiaries are target oriented and according to the guidelines of the project GRC – SK.
XVII. Ensuring the beneficiaries for implementation of the Government schemes either financial or non – financial be actual beneficiaries and originally approved as and according to the guidelines and data if any.
XVIII. Ensuring the GRC – SK operationalization is being running properly if any other associates or staffs are in leave or absent.
XIX. Any other responsibility that may need to emphasize innovation for operating GRC-SK by the Chief Functionary.

Experience:

Primary Responsibility:
Coordination of agri.business and entrepreneurship related activities of farmer producers’ groups in DSC’s operational area
Facilitating farmers’ organizations for developing business development plans and hand holding support for implementing the same
Providing training to functionaries involved in agri-business and entrepreneurship activities in DSC’s operational area
Liaisoning with private companies, cooperatives, producer companies and government departments for facilitating agri.business related activities

Score Foundation was established in 2002 and set up Project Eyeway, a knowledge resource for those living with a visual impairment. Through Project Eyeway, we offer a range of channels to reach out to blind and visually impaired persons across India. These channels include; a weekly radio programme, “Eyeway, yeh hai roshni ka karwan”, a website www.eyeway.org , a helpdesk with trained visually impaired counsellors, workshops, SMS alert service and a Talking Books Service.
As an NGO for visually impaired people, Score Foundation will give preference to applications from people with visual impairment.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
1.Ensure the website is updated regularly and all information is timely and accurate.
2.Manage the website through Content Management Systems.
3.Maintain house styles and editorial processes for all publications on line.
4.Ensure content presentation is user-friendly.
5.Edit images and photography to web formats.
6.Write clear and engaging web content.
7.Proof-read and edit content.
8.Write feature articles to deadline.
9.Coordinate creating and sending email newsletters and other online communications media such as podcasts.
10.Identify and oversee external/freelance designers, writers and copyeditors.
11.Maintain contacts with, and coordinate service providers.
12.Participate in budget preparation and policy, procedures and goal setting for the website by estimating equipment and other needs, new technologies and evaluating current programmes.
13.Conduct or commission on-going audience research.
14.Compile and analyse website usage statistics.
15.Obtain and analyse user feedback.
16.Recommend changes in editorial policy and site design.
We offer a challenging assignment to a candidate with:
1.Graduate level education in an applicable discipline (e.g. a degree in journalism or English) with at least three to five years related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
2.Ability to independently apply a broad knowledge of writing and editing practices and principles.
3.Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with a high standard of written and spoken English, with attention to accuracy and detail.
4.Ability to manage work load and work on own initiative under pressure to achieve deadlines.
5.Commitment to issues regarding disability in general and vision impairment in particular.
6.Proven computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Photoshop and Internet).
The maximum salary is Rs. 3 lakh per annum.
